L'électro aux Grammy Awards 2021

La 63ème édition des Grammy Awards se déroulera le 31 janvier 2021 au Staples Center de Los Angeles, probablement dans une ambiance lunaire, crise sanitaire et port du masque obligent !

La précédente édition avait été marquée par le triomphe de Billie Eilish et, dans la sphère électro, celui des Chemical Brothers. Qu’en sera-t-il du cru 2021 ?

Pour tenter de le savoir, il suffit de regarder la liste des nominés.

Dans la catégorie reine du « Best Dance Recording », sont annoncés, les Anglais de Disclosure avec leur titre « My High ». Egalement en lice, l’Australien Flume pour « The Difference » ou encore Diplo. Jayda G et Kaytranada ferment le bal.

Autre catégorie importante, celle du meilleur album dance/electronic et là, on retrouve Disclosure pour « Energy » sorti à la rentrée dernière et surtout, surtout, le français Madeon pour son sublime album « Good Faith » ! Au passage, on souhaitera bonne chance à un autre frenchy, Woodkid, nominé dans la (très méritée) catégorie du meilleur clip grâce à "Goliath". Woodkid qui était il y a peu l'invité d'Antoine Baduel et de l'Happy Hour FG

Au-delà de l’électro, c’est Beyonce, qui fait figure d’ultra favorite, devant Taylor Swift et Dua Lipa elles aussi maintes fois nominées !
